George Dickel is teaming up with Leopold Bros. to produce an innovative Rye Whisky offering. The release will blend Leopold Bros' Three Chamber Rye with George Dickel's column still rye produced at Cascade Distillery to recreate a historic style.
Far more sweet than typically associate with a rye. There is a citrusy spice, but the predominant smells are brown sugar, molasses, orange slices, and cotton candy. It starts off heavy bodied, but mellows out and is warm and spicy on the finish.
